Haarlem is known as the best shopping town of the Netherlands. To emphasize this, over thirty entrepreneurs came up with the concept Hipshops. Hipshops is a website and a route past small, independent shops who are unique in their kind.

At May 15^th 2014 a flashmob was organised to pay some attention to these lovely independent shops. Within an hour a floating structure appeared at the centre of the Haarlem market square. In the middle of the floating circle of balloons appeared a beautiful inner space where a short performance took place. Afterwards the spectators received one of the giant balloons making the structure scatter all over the city in solitary balloons.
